Continuation by the Republic of Serbia of membership
of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro in the Council of Europe:
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe noted today that,
following the declaration of independence of the Republic of Montenegro on 3
June 2006, and in accordance with Article 60 of the Constitutional Charter of
the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia will continue
membership of the State Union in the Council of Europe and will assume the
attendant obligations and commitments.
Continuation par la République de Serbie de la qualité d’Etat
membre du Conseil de l’Europe de l’Union d’Etats de Serbie-Monténégro:
Le Comité des Ministres du Conseil de l’Europe a pris note aujourd’hui du
fait que, suite à la déclaration de l’indépendance de la République du
Monténégro le 3 juin dernier, et conformément à l’article 60 de la Charte
constitutionnelle de l’Union d’Etats de Serbie-Monténégro, la République de
Serbie continuera d’assumer la qualité de membre de l’Union d’Etats au Conseil
de l’Europe, ainsi que les obligations et engagements qui en découlent.
