Strasbourg, 03.03.2004 - Goran SVILANOVIC, Foreign Minister of Serbia and
Montenegro, today handed to Walter SCHWIMMER the instruments of ratification of
the following treaties :
- The Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms
(entry into force : immediate).
The Protocol to the Human Rights Convention (entry into force : immediate).
- Protocol No. 4 to the Human Rights Convention securing certain rights and
freedoms other than those already included in the Convention and in the first
Protocol thereto (entry into force : immediate).
- Protocol No. 6 to the Human Rights Convention concerning the Abolition of
the Death Penalty (entry into force : 01.04.2004).
- Protocol No. 7 to the Human Rights Convention (entry into force :
01.06.2004).
- Protocol No. 12 to the Human Rights Convention.
- Protocol No. 13 to the Human Rights Convention concerning the abolition of
the death penalty in all circumstances (entry into force : 01.07.2004).
- The European Convention for the
Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
(entry into force : 01.07.2004).
- The Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher
Education in the European Region (entry into force : 01.05.2004).
