Armenia ratifies two Council
of Europe Treaties
Strasbourg, 18.06.2002 - Ambassador Christian TER STEPANIAN, Permanent
Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe, today handed to Walter
SCHWIMMER the instruments of ratification of the European
Convention for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or
Punishment (entry into force : 01.10.2002) and of the Sixth Protocol to the
General Agreement on Privileges and Immunities of the Council of Europe (entry
into force : 19.07.2002).
